Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

General Information

1. What is ISO Certification?

ISO certification is a third-party validation that your organization’s management system meets the requirements of a specific international standard (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, or 27001). It demonstrates your commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.

2. Is InterGlobal Certification an accredited body?

InterGlobal Certification is an independent conformity assessment body. We are currently in the formal process of obtaining accreditation from IAF member accreditation bodies. Our certificates are issued following the same rigorous standards required by global accreditation norms.

3. How long does the certification process take?

The timeline varies depending on the size of your organization and the maturity of your management system. On average, the process takes 3 to 6 months from application to the final certificate issuance.

The Audit Process

4. What are Stage 1 and Stage 2 Audits?

  • Stage 1: A “Document Review” to ensure your system is ready for a full audit.
  • Stage 2: An “On-site Assessment” to verify that your team is following the documented processes in daily operations.

5. What happens if the auditor finds a Non-Conformity (NC)?

An audit is a tool for improvement. If a gap is found, we issue a Non-Conformity report. You will be given a specific timeframe to correct the issue (Corrective Action) before certification can be approved.

6. How long is my certificate valid?

ISO certificates are valid for a 3-year cycle. To keep the certificate active, you must undergo a Surveillance Audit every year to ensure the standards are being maintained.

Consultancy & Impartiality

7. Can InterGlobal Certification help us implement our ISO system?

No. To maintain strict impartiality, we are not permitted to provide consultancy or internal audit services. We act solely as an independent auditor. However, we can provide a list of independent external consultants to assist you in your preparation.

8. Can we get a “combined quote” for consultancy and certification?

No. This is strictly prohibited by accreditation rules. Certification fees must be quoted and paid independently of any consultancy fees to ensure there is no conflict of interest.

Logistics & Support

9. How is the cost of certification calculated?

Our fees are determined by the required Audit Man-Days, which depend on your total employee count, number of office locations, and the technical complexity of your industry.

10. How do you handle our sensitive company data?

All InterGlobal auditors are bound by strict Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and is used strictly for audit and regulatory compliance purposes.

11. Can we use the InterGlobal Certification logo?

Yes. Once certified, you will be granted the right to use our certification marks on your website, marketing materials, and stationery, subject to our “Marks and Logos Use” guidelines.
