Certification Process

Our Certification Process

InterGlobal Certification Services Pvt. Ltd. (IGC) follows a structured, impartial, and internationally recognized certification process aligned with ISO/IEC 17021‑1 requirements. Our approach ensures transparency, competence, and consistency at every stage of the audit and certification cycle.

The certification process is designed to help organizations demonstrate conformity to ISO standards while supporting continual improvement and operational excellence.

1. Application & Review

The client submits an application. IGC reviews the scope, complexity, and audit requirements to determine audit time and feasibility.

2. Stage 1 Audit

A preliminary audit to evaluate documentation, readiness, and the organization’s understanding of standard requirements.

3. Stage 2 Audit

A detailed on‑site audit to verify implementation, effectiveness, and conformity of the management system.

4. Certification Decision

An independent certification panel reviews audit findings and makes an impartial certification decision.

5. Certificate Issuance

Upon approval, IGC issues the certificate, valid for three years, subject to ongoing surveillance.

6. Surveillance Audits

Annual surveillance audits ensure continued conformity and effectiveness of the management system.

7. Recertification

At the end of the three‑year cycle, a recertification audit is conducted to renew certification.
