Confidentiality Policy

InterGlobal Certification Services Pvt. Ltd. (IGC) recognizes the importance of maintaining confidentiality and the protection of all information obtained or created during the performance of its certification activities. IGC is committed to ensuring that all client and certification-related information is safeguarded against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

To achieve this commitment, IGC shall:

  • Maintain confidentiality of all information obtained or created during certification activities, except as required by law or authorized by the client.
  • Ensure that all employees, auditors, committee members, and subcontractors sign a Confidentiality and Impartiality Agreement prior to involvement in certification activities.
  • Protect electronic and hardcopy records from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.
  • Restrict access to client information only to authorized personnel with a legitimate business need.
  • Ensure information provided to third parties (such as accreditation bodies) is done only with the client's consent, except where required by law or accreditation rules.
  • Inform clients, in advance, about any information that IGC is required to make public as part of its certification obligations.
  • Require all external bodies or individuals to maintain confidentiality through legally binding agreements. Any breach of confidentiality will be treated as a serious violation and may lead to disciplinary or legal action.
  • Implement secure storage systems for digital and physical information, including password-protected databases and controlled access archives.
  • Regularly review confidentiality procedures as part of management reviews to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness.

IGC’s top management affirms its commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of client and certification information and ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 Clause 8.4 and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
